A fellow coffee snob sums up the obsession in this column from Wired magazine. I too, have grown weary of my pursuit to brew the most supreme cup of coffee ever. These days I'm back to tap water and Yuban and where's the big dif?
In 2005 we purchased a little casa in the newly launched villages of Loreto Bay in Baja California. This journal primarily documents our experiences here as well as a few adventures on the side: including our months on the road in our Airstream trailer where our sole purpose was to see and enjoy America from the road.
Robert and I married right after I finished college. We immediately had children and I stayed home to raise them while he worked hard building his business. We lived a conventional, bland life in the suburbs and I complained that nothing interesting would ever happen to us. Then he had a heart attack at 49 and suddenly everything changed. We would go make things happen. Now, not later. I wrote mostly about our travels; in particular our time in Loreto Bay, Baja California, and our time on the road in our Airstream trailer. Now, years later, we are back to a settled life as we have one child at college and two grandkids. I think I can still find something to write about.
